Celebrating Courage: Witches Paddle, Lake Mohawk, Sparta, NJ

The Lake Mohawk Witches Paddle was established to empower women to find the courage to live life authentically. Supporting DASI, 100% of proceeds support women building a new life.

The Lake Mohawk's Witches Paddle begins at Lake Mohawk's Beach 1, where women, wearing their favorite Witch costume, grab their paddleboard, decorate it, and hit the waters for a great cause. This is a family event, and all are welcome to cheer on their favorite paddling Witches.

This event is NOT for beginners, and all paddleboarders must know how to swim and sign a waiver stating they will be paddling at their own risk. There will be three paddleboard waves this year (registration for the Teen Witch and Wee Witches will be opening at a later date):

• Witches Paddle 5k ages 16+
• Teen Witch Paddle** 1 mile ages 12+
• Wee-Witches Paddleboard Parade** 1/2 mile ages 8+

Paddlers must have all safety equipment to participate, including:

• Coastguard approved PFD
• Leash
